LRDIMM, RDIMM, and UDIMMs are distinct memory technologies and cannot be mixed in one server. Most ProLiant Gen8 servers support RDIMM, UDIMM and LRDIMM.

The maximum DIMM population of the UDIMM is 16.

4 : Supports one of the following FlexibleLOMs and iLO management.

5 : Supports FCoE, Flex-10, TCP/IP offload engine, hardware-based accelerated iSCSI, iSCSI boot, and 10Gb/1Gb Ethernet autosensing.

Each port has 1Gb / 10Gb auto-sensing and can interoperate with 1Gb HP BladeSystem c-Class interconnect components. Both ports will work at the same speed.

FlexFabric features require the use of an HP Virtual Connect FlexFabric module. 6 : FlexibleLOMs are not compatible with previous generation C-Class server blades

7 : The ProLiant BL465c Gen8 server includes the new small form factor (SFF) HP SmartDrive hot plug carrier for improved manageability and reduced maintenance errors. Previous generation HP server drives are not compatible with ProLiant BL465c Gen8 drive bays.

Combining standard SAS drives with SSD SAS drives is supported by the server, but limits the RAID configuration to two separate RAID 0 volumes. Mixing other types of units is not supported.

8 . This expansion slot supports dual-port mezzanine cards: one port is routed to bay 3 of the interconnect module and the other to bay 4.

9 . This expansion slot supports dual-port and quad-port mezzanine cards. For dual-port cards, one port is routed to interconnect module bay 5 and the other to bay 6. For quad-port cards, one port is routed to interconnect module bay 5, one to bay 6 , one for compartment 7 and one for compartment 8.

10 . The above options are for integrated hypervisor virtualization environments that need a low-cost boot solution with the highest performance and reliability.
