IBM server support and maintenance
A DC Parts offers a proactive and professional approach, but more importantly, we understand what it means to add continuous value whenever we speak to customers. We have a lot of knowledge and experience with a specific focus on IBM X and P series servers. This specific focus, combined with the extensive knowledge base, ensures that we can maintain your IBM servers and keep them running smoothly beyond the manufacturer's 'end-of-life date' (EOSL).
By providing organizations with a viable and sustainable alternative option to extend the life of their servers after 'end of life' or 'end of life' announcements, we can help organizations by offering an economical solution for mission-critical IBM servers. This solution significantly reduces your total cost of ownership and also generates a greater return on your initial capital expenditures made on IT server hardware.
Maintenance of IBM servers
Our team can provide you with the ability to customize a suitable IBM server maintenance and support service solution that meets your specific current requirements. This service gives you the flexibility to pay only for the level of support service you need and for the length of time you need the service. THE DC Parts understands that today most organizations may only require specific support for a certain period of time and do not wish to enter into an annual maintenance support contract that they cannot justify just to provide temporary support for a migration and decommissioning project.
A DC Parts offers a flexible approach for organizations looking to integrate partially or fully with their organization's maintenance and support services for current or historic server systems. These service levels range from NBD (Next Business Day) to 24/7 response. Our maintenance and support services range from parts only to telephone and remote support. Our service level pages describe these and other services in detail.
Get in Contact with us to see if we can provide the guarantees you need, especially to explore an alternative maintenance support service.

Residual asset value for your IBM hardware
Our exclusive IBM server maintenance and support service can provide you with the potential to customize a cost-neutral maintenance contract for your IBM server that is now post-warranty, end of life or end of life (EOL / EOSL) . Our service allows customers with IBM hardware to have multiple stages in a lifecycle program, while providing extended maintenance support, regardless of the need for 3,6,9 or even 12 months of support, thereby effectively creating a solution cost neutral.
Cost reduction in your contract
We allow a cost-neutral maintenance solution to be provided through the residual value on your IBM server hardware that we would remove at the end of the agreed maintenance support term. As well as services for secure deactivation and elimination of data according to internal compliance requirements will also be part of the discussion of the hardware lifecycle services program.
If you don't need a support service, our maintenance service can still benefit you. As such, we can provide a residual value quote for your IT server and storage hardware and discuss the decommissioning and data erasure process, allowing you to achieve a much greater return on your initial capital investment. There is no obligation to obtain a quote from DC Parts, but lets you explore whether this service might be viable and beneficial for you.
These systems were originally launched as the IBM PC Server range. They were then renamed Netfinity, then eServer xSeries and are now referred to as System X. They are entry-level servers based on Intel and AMD Opteron from IBM compared to the RISC architecture based on P Series. A wide range of models has been made available, including tower variants for rackmount models. With a wide variety of ready-to-use processor options and internal storage configurations, the System X series is a versatile variety of trusted server platforms. Using IBM's own-brand hardware, including RAID controllers and OEM HBAs, the System X series has proven to be a popular option for many organizations looking for resilient servers from one of the most respected and well-established hardware manufacturers.
