IBM Storwize V7000F is a virtualized storage system designed to consolidate workloads onto a single storage system. It supports the NVMe-oF protocol through Fibre Channel adapters to accelerate connectivity between devices and the Storwize V7000F, allowing you to augment multiple workloads for faster decision-making with best-in-class performance. It is most frequently deployed to support high-performance enterprise applications, such as databases such as IBM DB2®, Oracle, and SAP, as well as virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) and server virtualization.
A Storwize V7000F system can scale up to 760 units per cabinet. Storwize V7000F systems can be clustered to help provide increased performance, bandwidth, and scalability. A clustered system can contain up to four V7000F systems and up to 3,040 drives.
