The Dell PS6610 Series storage array delivers superior density and enhanced performance, combining the power of 10GbE and up to 7x higher performance compared to the previous generation. Offering more than half a Petabyte of storage capacity, the PS6610 fits into virtually any data center. Great for archiving or secondary storage, as well as mixed workload and video surveillance solutions.
Version 8.0 of the latest PS Series firmware offers new features such as advanced vSphere Virtual Volumes integration and improved storage management with Smart Tags.
Designed to meet growing capacity requirements without the administrative overhead, the PS6610 array includes features and capabilities that detect network connections, automatically create RAID sets, and conduct system health checks to help ensure that all components are fully functional. Based on a virtualized modular storage architecture, you purchase only the storage you need, when you need it. The PS6610 can help prevent underutilization and over-provisioning in the data center. All PS Series arrays in a SAN work together to automatically manage data, load balance across all resources, and scale to meet your growing storage needs.
