Dell EqualLogic PS6000XV is a virtualized iSCSI SAN that combines intelligence and automation with fault tolerance to provide simplified administration, rapid deployment, seamless scalability, enterprise performance and reliability. Equipped with 15,000 SAS drives, the PS6000XV delivers high transactional performance with up to 9.6 TB of storage capacity.
PS6000XV is an intelligent storage array designed to provide quick installation, simple management, and seamless expansion. The PS6000XV includes SAN configuration features and capabilities that detect network connections, automatically create RAID sets, and conduct system health checks to help ensure that all components are fully functional. EqualLogic PS series arrays are based on a modular, virtualized storage architecture that allows IT managers to purchase only the storage they need—when they need it—helping to avoid underutilization and overprovisioning.
