Scaling up to 16 processor cores and 192GB of RAM, each M420 combines processing power and memory capacity with tremendous I/O throughput, with up to four 10Gb Ethernet ports available in an exceptionally compact form factor with individual serviceability. From mid-level and entry-level business applications to virtual environments with large numbers of nodes and even distributed workloads such as cloud or high-performance computing (HPC) environments, the M420 offers advantages for virtually any data center where a large number of compute nodes need to be deployed in a minimal footprint.
