  • Y processors come with Intel Speed Select. These processors allow core selection at boot via HP RBSU. The cores selected determine the frequency at which the processor operates. The processor offers the ability to configure and operate at 3 distinct operating points. The selected core count defines the frequency of operations (lower core = higher frequency). Static Boot Time Configuration: The BIOS discovers and prompts you for configuration only at startup. Frequency may vary.
  • Intel Xeon Platinum 8160M, Gold 6142M, 6140M, and 6134M support extended memory capacities of up to 1.5 TB per socket versus 768 GB per socket for standard processors. However, the maximum memory capacity of the server will be limited by the maximum capacity of available DIMMs and the number of DIMM slots. The BL460c Gen10 will support a maximum memory capacity of 512GB per socket with 64GB DIMMs, regardless of the processor chosen. This maximum will increase as higher capacity DIMMs are qualified for the server.
  • When using processors of 135W or more, 10 fans are required in the c7000 for optimal performance.
  • Per-socket memory is based on the maximum supported memory of the processor, not the maximum memory of the BL460c.

  • Depending on the memory configuration and processor model, the memory speed can run at 2666 MT/s, 2400 MT/s, 2133 MT/s, or 1866 MT/s.
  • Supports FCoE, TCP/IP offload engine, hardware-based accelerated iSCSI, iSCSI boot, and 10 Gb/1 Gb Ethernet autosensing.
  • Each port automatically detects the speed and can interoperate with HP BladeSystem c-Class 1 Gb interconnect components. Both ports will operate at the same speed.
  • : FlexFabric features require the use of an HP Virtual Connect FlexFabric or Flex10/10D module. Fibre Channel over Ethernet (FCoE) is supported on HP interconnects.
  • FlexibleLOMs are not compatible with c-Class server blades prior to Gen9.
  • This expansion slot supports dual-port mezzanine cards: one port is routed to bay 3 of the interconnect module and the other to bay 4.
  • This expansion slot supports dual- and quad-port mezzanine cards. For dual-port cards, one port is routed to interconnect module bay 5 and the other to bay 6.
