The enclosure is 10U tall and holds up to 16 servers and/or storage blades, plus optional redundant networking and storage interconnect modules. Includes a shared high-speed 7.1 Tbps NonStop mid-tier plan for single blade server connectivity to the network and shared storage. Power is provided via a rear panel, clustered power and power input flexibility is provided with options of single-phase AC input, three-phase AC input, -48V DC input, and high-voltage DC input.

Each c7000 enclosure is designed with the following features:
- Supports up to 16 half-height server blades, 8 full-height server blades, and/or 8 expansion blades per enclosure (maximum total of 16 blades).
- Provides up to 4 redundant interconnect I/O fabrics (Ethernet, Fibre Channel, InfiniBand, iSCSI, SAS, etc.) supported simultaneously within the enclosure.
- Offers flexible power options, including high-line single-phase AC, high-line three-phase AC, high-voltage single-phase AC, -48 V DC, or high DC voltage, for easy connection to data center power.
- It integrates HP Thermal Logic technology to optimize energy consumption and reduce the need for cooling.
- Equipped with a minimum of four HP Active Cool 200 hot-plug fans. For increased capacity, redundancy, and improvements in power consumption and acoustics, Active Cool 200 Fan kits can be added, totaling up to 10 fans.
- Includes redundant hot-plug cooling, redundant hot-plug power supplies, redundant connections, redundant interconnect modules, and optional redundant BladeSystem Onboard Administrator management module.

HP D2200sb Storage Blade | The D2220sb Storage Blade provides direct-attached storage for c-Class Gen8 server blades with support for up to twelve SAS or SATA Midline Small Small Form Factor (SFF) hot plug hard disk drives or SAS/SATA SSDs. The rear panel of the chassis provides a PCI express connection to an adjacent C-Class server blade and allows access to high-performance storage without any additional cables. Dynamic Power Limit | HP Dynamic Power Limit is the industry’s first power limiting solution that allows the user to recover trapped power and cooling capacity without putting electrical infrastructure or server performance at risk.
