Product Warranty – RMA (Shipment of Damaged Material) Procedure


General Conditions

The warranty conditions offered by the Manufacturer and DC Parts will always be respected, respecting all the precepts of the Consumer Protection Code that governs the commercial relationship. The warranty covers only defects and defects in the manufacture of the product, and does not extend to damages caused by misuse, handling, transport, damage caused by accidents and/or natural disasters (lightning, flood, fire, etc.) or any other types of causality of damage other than damage caused by manufacturing. The warranty does not cover damage caused by third-party manufacturing and/or marketing equipment coupled with products supplied by DC Parts. The deadline for activating the warranty regarding easily verified defects/defects will be up to 90 days from the date of effective receipt of the product, under the terms of article 26, item II, paragraph 1 of the Consumer Protection Code. The claim of the product after the 90-day period will not be covered by the warranty, due to the legal statute of limitations. Items sent for warranty will be tested to identify the reported defect. After technical analysis of the part received from RMA, if defect is confirmed, payment can be made by sending other similar parts or generating financial credit, which will be informed to the customer by e-mail and can be used in the form of a discount on new orders, observing a discount limit of up to 1/3 of the order value (33%).

Warranty Claim – RMA

1) To claim the warranty, you will need to make the “RMA Request” by sending an email to rma@dcparts.com.br
where the warranty request is registered and all the communication of the process is carried out.

2) After opening the RMA, wait for up to 24 business hours, until a person from our team contacts you to carry out the remote access procedure and collect data about the equipment error.

3) If the problem cannot be solved remotely, the product must be sent after authorization by our RMA sector.

4) Every product must be in original packaging with manuals and accessories.

• product identifiers are removed, covered or tampered with;

• Connection to an electrical network with a voltage incompatible with that specified in the equipment;

• Verification of damage caused by energy variations;

• Present damage caused by improper movement of unloading the goods, transportation or use of improper packaging.

5) When shipping is authorized, we will provide you with the RMA authorization code that must be entered on the outside of the box.

6) The invoice must also be placed outside the box.

7) When we receive the product, it will be checked with the data informed in the ticket (Warranty Request – RMA) and in the invoice, after this check the physical integrity of the product will be verified. If there is any type of divergence or physical damage, the warranty will be refused.

8) Only after step 5 is the warranty validated.

10) We will inform you about the shipment of a new part or the same repaired item, within the legal period of up to 30 days from the validation of the warranty (step 7). 11) If the products are not received at our company’s headquarters within 30 days from the issuance of the authorization code, the process is automatically closed. However, it can be reopened at any time, simply by filling out a new RMA, and observing the legal period of 90 days of warranty.

Freight Liability

When shipping RMA warranty products, the shipping cost is the customer’s responsibility. Once the warranty is validated, the return freight is the responsibility of DC PARTS. For products sent by mail, the NF. must come from outside the package, otherwise it will be returned.

Loss of Warranty

• Removal of the identification tag;

• The guarantee seal, seals or others;

• Loss of the legal statute of limitations;
