  4. Advanced ECC uses Single Device Data Correction (SDDC) to detect and correct single errors and all Multi-bits that occur on a single Chip DRAM. Both x4 and x8 SDDC are supported (x8 requires lockstep mode).
  5. Online memory spare mode (also known as sort spare mode) detects a degrading sort and switches the operation to spare sort.
  6. Memory lock mode is used to correct a single x8 dynamic random access memory (DRAM) device failure on a DIMM. DIMMs in each paired memory channel must have identical HPE part numbers.
