    • The 2SFF kit comes with a cable for the internal SATA B140i controller. For SAS, an alternate storage controller and cable kit are required.
    • For E5-2600v3 Entry models, the built-in B140i will only work in UEFI mode.
      • For legacy mode support, you will need an additional controller.
      • For CTO orders, also select the HPE Legacy Factory Installed Option Mode Setting (FIO) , 758959-B22.
    • The built-in B140i defaults to AHCI outside the chipset. The HPE Dynamic Smart Array controller needs to be activated on SATA models only if necessary.
