Accelerator and GPU information
HPE supports multiple accelerators on selected HPE Proliant servers to support different workloads. Accelerators enable seamless integration of GPU computing with HPE ProLiant Servers for high-performance computing, large data center graphics, deep learning, and virtual desktop deployments. These accelerators provide all the standard benefits of GPU computing, while enabling maximum reliability and seamless integration with system monitoring and management tools such as HPE Insight CMU.
Rack and Power Infrastructure
  • Advanced and Enterprise HPE G2 Racks are perfect for today's modern server room or data center, with enhanced airflow and thermal management, flexible cable management, and a 10-year warranty to support high-density computing.

  • HPE G2 PDUs deliver reliable power in flexible forms that operate at temperatures up to 60°, include color-coded outlets and load segments, and a discreet design for optimal rack access and support for dense rack environments.

  • HPE uninterruptible power systems (UPS) are cost-effective power protection for any type of workload. Some UPS include remote management options and extended runtime modules so that the dense critical data center is covered in power outages.

A simple configuration (SCE)
SCE is a guided self-service tool to help sales and non-technical personnel provide end users with initial setups in 3-5 minutes. The user can then submit the configuration for configuration help or use existing ordering processes.

NOTE:

    • The 3 rear LFF drives will consume space for the secondary riser.
    • The 12 LFF chassis also supports 2 rear SFF that allow for the second riser.
    • The 8 NVMe drives option (826689-B21) can only be leveraged on the SFF chassis and replaces Box 1, 2 or 3, however there is a maximum of 20 NVMe drives supported with partial box fill1.
    • The premium cage (826690-B21, 6 SAS / SATA + 2 NVMe) can only be used in the SFF chassis and replaces the box 1, 2 or 3.
    • The universal media bay (826708-B21) is not available with the LFF chassis or the 24 SFF front end and can only be populated in box 1.
    • The 8 SFF can be upgraded with a drive cage to 16 or 24 SFF. For an optimal update, box 2 should be completed second, with box 3 the last to be filled for a field update to 24 SFF. For CTO builds that require 24 SFF pluse, use the 24 SFF chassis (868704-B21). Note that a field upgrade to 24 SFF will require a high performance fan kit (867810-B21).
    • The 8 LFF chassis cannot be upgraded to the 12 LFF front in the field; however, the 4-LFF midplane (826686-B21) is compatible but will also require a performance fan kit (867810-B21).
    • All pre-configured chassis come with built-in software RAID support for 14 SATA drives. Optional HPE Smart Array controllers can be added.
    • 1P models normally come with 4 standard fans. The second processor option kit contains 2 additional fans.
    • The 12 LFF and 24 SFF chassis come with 6 high performance fans as standard.
    • High performance fan kit is available to meet ambient temperature environments.
    • High performance fan kits are required for rear units or NVMe configurations.
