Sun Oracle

Sun Microsystems was an information technology company that became known for its servers, workstations, software and hardware components. It was founded in 1982 and has become a major player in the technology industry, especially with its Solaris operating system and Java development platform.

In 2010, Oracle Corporation acquired Sun Microsystems, becoming Oracle America, Inc. This acquisition established Oracle as one of the largest software and hardware companies in the world. Oracle continues to offer products based on Sun's legacy technologies, including Solaris, Java and high-performance servers. The integration of these technologies within Oracle's portfolio has strengthened its position in the IT market and allowed it to offer more comprehensive solutions to corporate customers.
