The enclosure is 10U tall and holds up to 16 servers and/or storage blades, plus optional redundant networking and storage interconnect modules. Includes a shared high-speed 7,1 Tbps NonStop mid-range plan for unique blade server connectivity to shared storage and network. Power is supplied through a pooled power back panel and power input flexibility is provided with single-phase AC input, three-phase AC input, -48V DC input, and high voltage DC input options.

Each c7000 cabinet is built with the following functions:
