EMC VNX is a versatile line of midrange storage that integrates block, file, and object hardware components with concurrent support for native NAS, iSCSI, Fiber Channel, and FCoE protocols. While its big brother Clariion systems were designed for block storage only, the VNX is the first generation to offer unified functionality utilizing the best of SAN and NAS capabilities. It is known as one of the most scalable, reliable and operable systems available.
